Rosewood Jumbo Grand Concert (RJGC)- Sitka spruce, clear pickguard (why don't all acoustics have this?), East Indian rosewood back and sides, Koa binding, mahogony neck is 'satin' finished. Abalone around rosette. Non-cut away body is slightly larger than an OM size, but has a much larger sound. Beautiful harshell case is inlcuded. Sound and playability are the only features needed on this superb instrument, and its GOT IT!

Sound : 10
Fingerstyle player's dream. Can also flat picked and sound like a dreadnaught. The sound carries and sustains like no other guitar I have played owned or heard. After I replaced the Elixer lights with D'Adario mediums...WOW!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Superb in all categories. The neck is cut just right for my hand, set up was perfect. Can use either light or medium guage strings. Porperly matched. Little 'wave' in rosewood grain on back, but it could hardly be called poor quality. The sound out of this thing made me select it over the flashier Koa model

Reliability/Durability : 10
Sure looks like a lifetime winner. Heard all great things about James and Jean Goodall. They even write back to you on email. Back-up? Heck, this beauty is allowing me to consolidate my acoustic collection.

Customer Support : 10
They actually write back personally, and really care about their product and customers

Overall Rating : 10
Compared to Santa Cruz OM for same price. It was a close call, but the SOUND & TONE quality edge lies clearly with the Goodall. Slightly larger body really gives nice warm, clear bass, even balance on mids and highs..well it just SINGS. If you buy/try a Goodall with Elixers and like it, change the strings to a phosphor bronze or brass strings and listen to it open up!
