Made around 1993 at Westerly,R.I.Purchased brand new.Solid spruce top with what looks to be a solid mahogany body one piece back and sides. The body was machine routed from a solid block of wood.Fitted with a Fishman tranducer pick-up system.Single cutaway with a satin finish. The nut and bridge look to be bone.Came with a case.Having never tried another classical cutaway my ratings in all categories listed below are made without being able to compare with higher end guitars in this type.

This is one of six different guitars that I own and it fits a particular niche.I play it through a Fender Deluxe Reberb '65.Has a well balanced sound.I turn the brilliance slider off to obtain a more backseat sound.Never left the house but comes out of the closet once a month when I throw "The Great Guitars" on the stereo to jam to.Body looks to be about 3" deep.It is fun to play and with tweaking the pre-amp you can play 20's jazz through to Charlie Byrd.

No flaws.Everything seems to be in good order.

Stays in tune as the strings get older.Looks to be a pretty solid little guitar that will make it's way out to a bar one day.I do not think it is a true soloist guitar but can cover a broad spectrum of music.

This guitar is a nice addition to the guild F65-CE that I have. The F65 is a little different in that it has a amber coloured maple top where most of them came out spruce.I am an average player who will never aspire to be a great player but am happy dinking around to the records of Mance Lipscomb,Dan Hicks fairly low key stuff. These guitars are different and that is the thing I like about them.Thankyou to the people at Westerly for making these.
