Features : 9
Mine is 1998. Acoustic-electric, D-size, rounded cutaway, gloss natural finish, solid spruce top, laminated rosewood sides and arched back, 14-fret mahogany neck, 20-fret ebony fingerboard, dot inlays, 1-11/16" nut width, 25-1/2" scale, ebony bridge, black pickguard, white-bound body, pearloid "GUILD" and Chesterfield headstock inlays, Grover Rotomatic tuners, factory Fishman Prefix Onboard Blender pickup / mic / preamp system, made in USA.

Sound : 8
Plugged in, it's very versitle due to the Fishman Prefix. Unplugged, sounds good to me, well balanced, full. Suprisingly delicate. Unplugged this is not a loud guitar. I play a lot of Neil Young stuff on acoustic with lots in the first position with hammer on's & pull offs.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
A really nice looking guitar, action is consistent up & down the neck. Looks good, feels good, sounds good.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Well, this one is almost 10 years old and is in really good shape. As I said, looks good, sounds good, plays good.

Customer Support : 7
Called Guild (really it's Fender now) to check the serial number. Tech support was fast courteous, efficient.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
My 2 son's & I own lots of guitars (over a dozen), I've been playing almost 30 years. Acoustics, electrics, Fenders, Gibsons, Yairi, etc. One strange thing about this guitar, it is surprisingly heavey.
