Taiwan made acoustic. Small body- like a parlor "0" size. Known as the "Student Acoustic Guitar". 3-tone sunburst. Open-gear cheap tuners with white buttons. Made of plywood. Glossy finish. Bridge made of some cheap wood painted black. Black pickguard with a bunch of screws in it!

It sounds good, albeit very boxy. It has no sustain except maybe with brand new strings. Quite loud for such a small body! It's a fairly balanced tone-- it's just that that tone is not great tone. I like the thunky bass it's got. It does not sound 'woody'- it sounds very 'plywoody'. But I've written a hundred songs on this little box; It's size and tone have never gotten in my way when inspiration comes.

It just happened to be set up the way I like it. There are no adjustments to be made anywhere so what you get is what you get. When new, it looked good for a cheapy. The tuners were never great. But it does play in tune up the neck (you can't go that far, anyway).

I've had this box for 17 years. It has been a constant and faithful companion through many relationships, life changes, stuff that happens. Still hanging in there.

i've been playing 17 years. I am primarily a bass player, but I have always been a writer. I wouldn't try to replace it, but I would be sad if something happened to it. My favorite feature is the easy-playing little neck on it.
