Dreadnought acoustic. 'Arbor' series. Probably from the 80s or early 90s. Top seems to be solid, nice wood grain, bookmatched, gloss finish. Mahogony coloured back and sides, but not sure what wood. Nice binding back and front. Black plastic, stick-on pick guard. One strap button. Neck similar mahogony colour, quite thin. Fingerboard made from anonymous black wood, inlaid fret markers. 20 standard frets. Tuners were open, 3-aside strips. Plastic nuts/pegs.

Well balanced lows/highs. Highs quite bright, but low strings can sound muddy. Fine for open chords. Barre chords on higer frets can lose tone. A loud guitar though, can really project the sound.
I liked it at first, but over time i became disatisfied with the muddiness of the tone at the lower end.

Bought secondhand, so can't comment on initial setup. Action quite high like many inexpensive guitars. Body and neck very nicely made. Tuners were worn so i replaced them with new closed gear tuners. Basically it works well.

An inexpensive guitar, but very solidly made. Will stand up to a lot of punishment. Holds its tuning well with the new tuners. The finish has lasted well; no problems with the binding. Neck is still perfectly straight. Strap button solid.

I've been playing guitar for 3 years. I've got a Hohner Les Paul, and Squire Showmaster super strat; and i play through an MG30. My music style is rock and blues. I got this guitar for ??10 on ebay, and paid another ??8 for new tuners. It is a good looking guitar, and it feels quite good quality for its market niche. I don't like the high action which discourages me from practicing barre chords; and I'd like a cleaner overall tone.
It was a good guitar to learn acoustic on, and i will probably keep it when I buy my next one.
