This is an all solid wood dreadnought guitar. This was the top of the line model in 2005. Solid engelman spruce and solid rosewood sides and back. Clear pick guard. Maple binding on body and neck. Looks like a mohaony stripe down the back. Gold finished hardware with translucent amber buttons. Nicely done abalone inlays on headstock, fretboard and bridge. Rosewood fretboard. No cutaway, pickups, or other electronics.

I bought this as a discontinued item, and I couldn't have hoped for anything close to this for the price. It has a beautiful full sound, deep and resonant. I bought this sight unseen from an internet dealer but I'm very happy with it. I expect it will only get better as the wood ages.

Came with factory Quality Control tag. Nice low action. Finish not perfect, I saw some minor imperfections but nothing I'd complain about for the price I paid. The overall impression is of a high quality, gorgeous, finely crafted guitar. Playing this guitar bears this out.

List price was above USD1100, but purchased for less than 400. I own several mid-priced acoustics and this guitar stands above them all for its features, sound, and playability. I've been playing about two years, and this is the first guitar I pick up now. Wish it had electronics, but I'll probably add a K&K later. For now I can't believe that a guitar like this was available for this price.
