Solid mahogany sides, back and neck and a solid spruce top. Finished with a very nice satin clear finish. No pickguard, so it is best played finger style. Comes with Grover tuning machines from the factory.

Very nice sounding guitar, not terribly bright or low for that matter, has a nice smooth soft tone. I like to play classic rock and blues and it does a good job at doing both. It also sounds good playing classical music as well.

Typical Ibanez, it was very well setup. It came with Elixer strings and grover tuners so it almost never goes out of tune. The action is nice and low making it comfortable to play for long periods of time and it plays very fast as well. The top is very seamless. All the frets were smooth, even and round.

Very well made, strap buttons are solid and the rest of the hardware is top notch. The finish is a little more fragile then others because it is satin and I would not recomend using a flat pick with this guitar because of it. No backup is ever needed with an Ibanez.

Great guitar, it was my first and I well never get rid of it, ever! Loaded with lots of great features and beautifully made. If it was ever stolen, I would probably have to order one from Germany as that is the only place that has any anymore, there were not many to start with in the first place I got the last one of 6 in the whole state.
