this guitar has a really nice natural Cocobolo finish in gloss. this goes perfect with the abalone rosett, ebony fretboard and matching headstock. the body shape is an original from Ibanez but is slightly smaller than western but with a radical cutaway. it has ibanez tuners which are really smooth. the neck is mahogany and sports a very attractive ebony fretboard and 20 frets.the guitar has solid cocobolo top back and sides with a B-band UST pickup and ibanez SRTn preamp and tuner the electronics have a notch frequency dial, volume bass mid and treble.
this guitar as well as a 1/4' jack output it has a balanced XLR output so it can go straight into any PA system.

I play anything from country to metal and aything in between and this guitar ticks all the boxes... cocobolo give a very nice warm sound but also have a crisp and bright high end. the guitar was set up fairly well and the action just right, although admittedly i like my action slightly high for slide playing. so far i love everything about this guitar
Action, Fit, & Finish

this section was a little bit of a let down.. the action was perfect in my opinion i couldnt fault that but there were quite a few small blemishes along the bottom edge of the guitar and one slight paint blemish on the edge of the sound hole. the fretboard in my opinion was dreadful. although the fretboard has a superb wood it was untreated and this gave a dull and scratchy feel to it and the frets were badly dress causing the strings t scrape on bends. however a bit of bore oil and some wire wool sorted those problems.
Reliability/Durability

it does seem like a very sturdy guitar and everything looks and feels secure. i am yet to gig it or take it out of the home as i have only had it for 2 days.

i have been playing four years and at the moment i own a peavey rotor exp, an ibanez gsa60, a zoom g9.2tt multi effects and a line6 spider II 120 watt... this is my second ever acoustic and for ??300 its the best thing ive ever played. especially now i have sorted the fretboard out. i wouldnt now trade this for anything else unless there was ever a higher model than this. if it were stolen i would uy it again and also a security gaurd.. i never want to lose this!!!
very good guitar for a reasonable price
