1995 Ibanez PF10CE acoustic/electric guitar. Looks like a basic acoustic, "wood/natural" color, has treble horn cutaway for higher fret access. Made in Korea. Very cheap, low quality components. One volume knob, one tone knob, both on upper side of body. I don't know what the pickup is in this, but it sounds brittle and shreeky.

Sound : 1
This guitar sounds very thin and ultra-trebley through an amp. Sounds OK unplugged, but you can tell by the sound it's not a high end instrument.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 1
Action is too high. Nut and bridge aren't cut very well. After about 5 years of use the finish was worn off the neck and fretboard.

Reliability/Durability : 3
This has been my main (and only) acoustic guitar since I bought it new in 1995. The bridge is very worn and the holes have become too big over time to hold pins. I've been using duct tape on the bottom of the pins under the bridge to make them bigger so they hold. Only has one strab button on the butt end and the other end of teh strap I used shoelaces to tie around the headstock.

Customer Support : 1
Ibanez is awful as a company. Terrible customer service and the staff at Hoshino USA is a disgrace.

Overall Rating : 3
I've been playing for more than 25 years. I've owned guitars from most major manufacturers. The Ibanez PF10CE is pretty much a cheap piece of junk, but I don't play much acoustic, and I just have it because as a guitarist, you just "must" own an acoustic guitar. before the Ibanez PF10CE I had an Ovation, and the Ibanez is better than that. My bandmate has a Korean Fender acoustic/electric that is much better than this Ibanez and was comparable in price. The PF10CE is bulky, awkward, and challenging to play because of the high action and cheap/poor build. I would NOT buy another Ibanez if something happened to this one I'd try another brand.
