this is so far the 1st accustic Ibanez that could convince me. And it did this job very well. So I like it very much.
It has a nice full sound. Strong bass.
The cutaway needs a bit getting used as it has not the common shape.
This model does sound different that most other models in the artwood series. It is top model in that series at the time I bought it. (I did not see this model on the us webpage, but it is sold in asia & europe).
I played in comparisson with some breedloves and few other in the same price area. It could well keep up. I think the sound is well balanced. But of course matter of personal taste.
If u wanna get a guitar that sounds detecable better u need to invest a lot more.
Action, Fit, & Finish

body has nice glossy finish, the neck is non glossy, but has a nice feeling to it. The overall manufactering quality seems pretty nice, but it's made in china.
the guitar was setup nicly, when i bought it. The neck is thin, and like the electic Ibanez, it has a quite low action.
this shape of cutaway, does not work as effectifly as the common design, but does a recently good job. Starting with the 16 fret it gets bit more tricky to reach than with an 'old style' cutaway.
The pickguard is glossy plastic and not detectable if stand more than 2 meters aways, which is nice. But if you are close it looks a beat cheapish.

great love it ;-) !. Best accustic Ibanez, the first model, where I think Ibanez can be taken seriously in this area.
the standart price is around 666 euro in europe, and for that pirce u get a full solid guitar with a very nice sound and nice playability.
Hard to match that value at that price.
But u have to like shape, I can image that not everybody will fancy this cutaway design. (I was worried at first look, but started to like it, and it's something different that most other 'standart' designs)
