Dreadnought shape. Laminated spruce soundboard, laminated back and sides have dark brown finish which makes it difficult to determine what wood it is. No frills guitar. Rosewood fretboard and bridge. Made in China.

Sound is surprisingly good for a cheap guitar. Bought it second hand as a party guitar and it sounds good enough for people to ask what brand it is.

Setup is OK. Needed a bit of attention when I first got it but after an hour or two of resetting it up, it played very well.
Reliability/Durability

Seems reasonably sturdy construction and quite a good level of finish but I keep an eye on the machine heads as they look like cheap ones. They work OK but they don't seem as strong as Grovers

Been playing a few years. Have a Martin D18 which is a great machine but not for a party / campfire singalong. The Johnson fills that space very well and is a pleasure to play. Great value for money.
