finish is extremely thick heavy gloss this maccaferri copy has 14 frets to the body where as the original had only 12 frets. the fretboard is standard 45mm and ebonised meaning it is rosewood dyed black . gold tuners with pearled buttons cheap but stay in tune

well the sound of this guitar isn't surprising it cost ??220 and it's better just hanging on the wall. i took it out for a jam with other gypsy jazz guitarists and i was drowned. even putting a transducer on it was no good. best left on it's own for practice
Action, Fit, & Finish

i had to take for a fret dress although the action was fine the frets where very rough at the edges and grind-ed with vibrato . horrible feeling taking a new guitar to shop for a fret-dress
also the 2 pieces of spruce the top was made of wasnt matched so really thats what dampened the sound as well as the thick gloss they apply-ed to the Finnish
Reliability/Durability

this guitar would withstand alot of knocks as the thing is thick with polish .i think he pearl plastic tuners will eventually break they are flimsy almost see through . i think if you took this to a gypsy camp they would almost certainly use for there camp fire . so not very reliable
