I was looking to replace dread when I found this 000. An excellent FS guitar even though I mainly flatpick/strum. The sound is bright as well as mellow depending on the attack with plenty bass.

This is a very comfortable guitar to play with beautiful sound. I had my doubts about the 000 style in Mah back and sides as well as the 12-fret neck with a slot head. So what do I do? I buy a guitar that has all these. I would do it again. The 000-60 (rosewood) sounds great also.

Check out the specs on Larrivee' site. Too many to list. Spruce top/Mahogany back and sides. No pickups on mine.

This is the best sounding guitar I have played in any price range. It is full in the bottom with good midrange and bright in the higher end. I played guitars in the $4,000 range which weren't nearly as good. Loud.

Beautiful. Flawless. Slotted headstock, ebony fingerboard, maple binding, diamond inlays, true herringbone rosette and trim, bone nut and saddle, ebony diamond bridge.

Built very sturdily but would not recommend abuse unless a fool. Feels strong and dependable.

I have been playing for over 30 years - off and on - and this is the best wooden bodied guitar I have ever played. I am partial to triple O's because of the deeper sound, harmonics and overtones due to the 12 fret neck setting. This guitar is a steal and you can get it for under $1,800 if you search around.

I'm lame at describing sounds but let's just say it is large, open, and has a distinct character. When using a flatpick it excels in clean, focused single note lines. Like a Nick Lucas, great for strumming Dylan songs. Fingerpicked it just shines, however. The nut width allows a nice comfortable left hand technique. Extremely playable.

I loved this guitar right out of the case. It was set up perfectly for me. Of course, I play other Larrivees and am likely partial to the feel of them. The total sunburst is absolutely perfect as well. It brings out the lovely mahogany underneath rather than cover it up. I could find no flaws with this instrument. The 18:1 tuning machines take a little getting used to but I like an accurate tuner and that's what I got.

I believe it will endure just fine but it has a delicate beauty that causes me to fear for it a little more than my other guitars. If there's a negative, it's too beautiful. I'd only gig with it in certain conditions.

I don't expect any trouble with this guitar but any dealings that I've had with Larrivee customer service have been very satisfactory.

I've been playing for nearly 40 years. I've had a few nice guitars but this is the nicest guitar I've ever owned. I love everything about it and would hunt the dog down if it was stolen.

A Vintage looking, SLothead with pyramid bridge, herringbone trim. Mahogany back and sides with a Solid SPruce Top and a large sound hole.

This is one of the most vibrant, resonant guitars I have heard in a store in a long time. It is very warm but has losts of depth when it's called for. Out of a room full of guitars including other Larrivee's, Martins, Gibsoms etc. it stood head and shoulders above them. I can only compare it to one of my hnadmade guitars. Definitely a mahogany family sound, but unlike I've heard for a long, long time.

I play mostly bluegrass and both flatpick and fingerpick. This guitar fits my hand and sounds bright and in-your-face. It's my first mahogany guitar and is taking some getting used to. Nice mid-range sounds and big, if somewhat muddled lows.

Nice set-up from the factory. One small chip in the saddle, but no big deal. Magnificent fit and finish. The back looks like one piece of wood due to a perfect match. Outstanding workmanship and a perfecxt finish (Tobacco Sunburst).

The bracing seems light and the soundboard vibrates a lot when played hard. The finish will last for many years.

I've sent three e-mails. No response for two of them and a wrong answer for the third. I asked the spacing between the bridge pins and was told 2 3/8". It's actually 2 1/4". You'd think they know.

I've only been playing for a couple of years. I have a D-28 which I love. This guitar is absolutely beautiful and I think I would replace it if lost/stolen. I wanted something entirely different from my D-28, and I got it. It sure is pricey.
