Very balanced volume and tone. It supplies more clarity than other 12 trings I've owned.

Bueatiful woods, but the previous owner neglected to properly humidy it. The result was a crack from the bridge to the tail, which has been professionally cleated by a luthier. HUMIDIFY A SOLID WOOD INSTRUMENT!!! The spruce top has darkened beautifully over time and the Mahogany binding is a work of art.

Seems to be a very solid guitar even after 20 years of playing. I would not need a back up guitar for this and wouldn't be afraid of playing it out regularly.

I called customer support to find out more information on it since I purchased it used and they supplied me with the origination date, build specifications, and were generally very helpful. They also recommended a local luthier that was Larrivee recommended for any additional future work.

I've played over 30 years and own/have owned numerous guitars and gear. I play just about every weekend. If this were lost/stolen I would try to replace it, but I haven't seen another 12-string florentine cut away. I love the clarity of range this guitar has, especially for a 12-string. Not as much volume as my Takamine Dread 12-string, but definately more balance. Add a LR Baggs iMix for live playing.
