All solid wood guitar. Mahogany back and sides, spruce top. Satin finish, no frills etc. 24 1/2" scale. 15" lower bout. 11" upper bout. 10" waist. 4 3/8" max. body depth. 39" overall length. This has the dreadnought shape, and comes with a gig bag from the factory. These were made in the late 1990's. Currently a discontinued model. MSRP of $749 USD.

Great fingerstyle guitar. Smaller scale allows for easier string bends. For strumming I prefer the full size dread. Or even an OM with a rosewood/spruce combo.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Nice action, etc. Only problem I had was that I had to file the fret ends. Without any binding for some reason the smaller guitar fingerboards seem to want to shrink more, and hence the frets feel sharp on the ends.

It is a Larrivee, and they are very well built, and seem to be pretty consistent on quality.

I needed a pickguard, and they sent TWO clear ones within a week and a half. AWESOME customer service!

This is a great guitar to practice with, take on outings, teach a youngster with , etc. Definitely wouldn't be my only guitar. If it were lost or stolen, I would probably get a D03 for the added volume.
