Features : 10
Made around 1968, 18 complete frets, solid top cedar, rosewood side and match book back, mohagony neck, nut 2 1/4 inches, factory tuners and bridge. She is solid.

Sound : 10
Rich long sustaining tones, high, medium or low, she graciously lets them sing out. Why I feel in love with her.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Great, well made. Wood is beautiful on her. The grain on the sides is tight and two tone. However, the neck on the back is a little of centered from the matchbook back, not much, but can notice.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Need I say more, 40 years old and plays solid and beautifully.

Company out of business.

I have been playing just over a year now, and own a Composite Acoustics GX RT Tribal wine acoustic guitar. If this guitar was lost, a little peice of history would be lost too. What I love about her is how the cedar has turned a deep orange glow and how she keeps tune for days on end. I have only seen one other like this, beat up on ebay. Contact me at my email if you would like to see pictures.

I bought it from an antique store in Sumner, Washington. I was told the original owner was selling it. Bought in the late 60's. Body is Brazilian rosewood (Sides and Back), back is match booked. Top is cedar in nature, turning a nice orangish color. Neck is Mahagony and fret board is rosewood. I have looked real good on the inside, the sides look to be solid (grain of wood is same on inside as outside)and back looks the same but I beleive they added a sheet of rosewood over back (inside looks like one solid peice, outside is match book)A golden LYLE label on top by tuners, look original and are silver. The neck is fat, at the nut 2 inches with 18 complete frets. No features are found. It's a beautiful classical guitar well over 40 years old- a 10

Wow, I first played this little beauty not knowing what I found. She can hold a note long and clean. She sounds amazing. The intonation is great, a little off but not much at all. I have had 3 guitar players and luthiers with well over 75 years of playing time and all have loved this little treasure and have said she plays and sounds great. Action a little high and I agrees, medium. I can play her finger picking and chord strumming with a medium pick and she holds up and sounds great.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Overall this beauty is great. The finish is high gloss, the neck in back where it attaches to the body is slightly misaligned. Not much though. The craftsmanship looks great and solid. The bracing inside is different than any other guitar I have seen, round with design bracing.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Reliability, it's over 40 years old and everything is holding up, including the bridge, very strong and still very attached. The tuners look original and the peices the strings wrap around are still intacted and perform smoothly. She stays in tune for 3 days with out missing a beat and slowly looses tuning when sitting. It with stood a drive from Washington to Oklahoma while played every night at the hotel. Man, can't say enough, this is a treasure.

None, but have been told by a great Luthier Sam Radding at G0-Guitars.com that he would like to see her and if I ever need work on her to bring her by if I am ever in the area.

I have been playing just over a year now and own a Composite Acoustics GX RT Tribal wine and have just ordered a Go-Guitar Walnut Grande from go-guitars.com If this baby was lost, damaged or stolen, I would cry. No replacing this one. In over a year now I have only seen 1 other one on Ebay and she was torn up from the floor up. What I love the most is her sound and how it sustains long and clear each note. The cedar top and the orangish color she is turning. The brazilian rosewood sides and back. The grain is real dark and compact. When polished up, wow I want to hug her. Just think, I spent just over a 120.00 bucks for her.
