For real, this is the best guitar I've ever held in my hands. It is flush with features, yet boasts an elegant look, not over the top gaudy like a Martin D-100, Gibson J-200 Vine and on and on. My D-60K has Master Grade Koa back/sides with Engelmann top. Here's a recent desciption I saw of features on this model that says it all:
Dual Abalone rosette rings with Koa Leaf marquetry inlay in gloss black Ebony middle ring rosette, Abalone front body purfling, back body purfling with center stripe, Koa fingerboard and headstock purfling, Koa, Walnut and Whitewood fingerboard marquetry Short Vine inlay, Koa Walnut and Whitewood headstock Torch with Abalone Magnum Opus script inlay in a gloss black Ebony headplate with Custom MO Tuners with handcrafted Ebony buttons.
I'll add that the workmanship on my MO is Perfecto Plus!

A complete Tone Monster. This dreadnought defines acoustical tones in my opinion. Ultra highs, clear defined mids, a deep, punch lows. And, the most amazing thing is it doesn't have all the annoying overtones to mud up everything. I pull out my other dreadnoughts now and they sound like toys compared to this MO. The tone is simply Magic. I can chime it and set in stand and walk in kitchen to get a cup of coffee and it's still ringing when I come back in the room.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Best playing acoustic I've ever touched. My action is low low low with no buzz and the intonation is perfecto! This is the first time in my life I didn't have to do a little crank of the old truss rod and tweak nut slots or saddle height to suit my needs.
Reliability/Durability

I have put it thru the mill on the stage and in the studio and it just keeps on deliverying. Normally, we all get jaded with everything in life and we just stop fully appreciating how special something may be. Each day I pick this up it continues to amaze me. This is made for real players and they challenges of the road.

I've been writing, recording and perferming for 20+ years and I have never been this happy with any guitar (electric or acoustic) than my MO D-60K. The biggest problem I've encounted with Magnum Opus is trying to find one of their instruments for sale! Of course these are not mass produced production guitars, but all handmade. If you own an MO, you have something very special and a guitar that hundred's of thousands of other players aren't using.
