This model is part of the Magnum Opus Reserve series and it's nothing short of stupendous! Solid candy-striped Hawaiian Koa Jumbo without cutaway, herringbone purfling and the most elegant, tastefully hand-engraved flower top over half moon rosette I've ever seen. 25 1/2 scale with Ebony board and bone nut/saddle. It's so beautiful it should be in a museum, but thankfully it's in my hands. I wish I could post a photo!

The tone is frightening. It's so balanced and warm and big that I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This is the king of all jumbos - huge, evenly balanced at all frequencies and sustains forever with flawless clarity without annoying overtones. I'm totally in awe and inspired every time I play it.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Flawless high gloss finish on body with satin finish neck. This neck fits me so perfect I feel like I was personally sized for it like a set of golf clubs. The action and intonation are spot on - easily the best playing acoustic I've ever touched.

Same warranty as all high-end builders - limited lifetime. I talked with reps at NAMM show in 2006 and they were great! I might add that one of the MO reps (I believe his name was Jeff) was an awesome guitar player. In fact, they all were, but Jeff blew me away. These guys are no arm chair experts - they are players and it translates to their guitars.

If this were lost or stolen I would immediately order a new one. The only downside with MO is they are hard to get your hands on one. Although I can understand why as they are totally handmade without CNC machines and I'm sure there's a huge waiting list.
