small bodied obviously but larger waist compared to O sizes. 12 fret to body - slotted neck . Adirondack red spruce top. quartersawn Brazilian sides and back with Herringbone. Ebony board and pyramid bridge - mahogany neck with the simple snowflake inlays - slight V - orig bar frets and original finish - 1929 model serial # 308XX this has been beat up a bit - bridge pulled up like they all did from this era - new pyramid replaced at Martin ?2005 - also detailed internal work to brace up cracking on top ( old wood )

original finish - pretty cool - still some shine - lots of dings gorgeous - I've played 45 yrs - mostly newer guitars - when you first play a 12 neck/slotted / wider neck with bar frets it's different - but after a few weeks you begin to smile...

I don't take this out of the house anywhere but I leave it out on the wall( calif - friendly humidity ) because it is so awesome - it needs to be seen and drooled over. It looks so understated and simple but then when you pick it up you realize what a priceless thing it is.

Martin did nice work with the bridge - but plastic bridge pins !!!??
I replaced these with fossilized ivory.
