Nickel plated brass perfection. I have been a guitar player for 40 years and I have to tell you that the quality of this guitar is superb! Nice neck, action, finish and above all, SWEET TONE! I ordered a Highlander pickup system and it was the best money I have ever spent. This guitar has it all. The Highlander very faithfully reproduces the guitars ACTUAL SOUND. Again,WELL WORTH THE PRICE OF ADDMISSION.

Man it really is hard to find the words to say,so here goes, It is the sound that National is known for. This axe is one of the best sounding and playing reso guitars that I have ever heard or played.I own a 1929 National style 1 tricone, and I love it,but the Reso-rocket is every bit as good as a vintage one soundwise, and build quality is excellent! I can't find anything I don't like about it and I have really tried to find a flaw to gripe about, but alas, I have failed to.

This guitar came out of the box ready to gig with. I could have went gigging with it immediatly upon its arrival. Did I mention the deluxe hard shell case? It is also first class.

Its a National. Like its 29 brother, it will be here long after we are gone. I would not be worried about reliability with this axe. I gig full time and would not be worried about this guitar at all.I would count on this axe to hold up. No worries.

I purchased this axe from Lark Street Music,Teaneck,New Jersey. They installed the Highlander system and the work was first class as well as the service.Buzzy Levine was a pleasure to deal with.Courtesy, and willingness to answer ALL questions makes it very easy to deal with them.

I would absolutely purchase another one if it were stolen but what the hell, Im gonna save some $$ and buy another one ANYHOW.So my fellow musicians,DO NOT BUY A CHEAP ASIAN IMPORT! Save your $$$ and buy a National. If you ever owned a cheap import( Yes, I do)There is no comparison.I will NEVER own another one.If it takes me years to save the $$$, Im going with National ONLY NATIONAL, EVERY TIME.
