This guitar is a compact acoustic electric with the following: ash top, transparent glossy finish, rosewood fretboard and bridge, offset wingshaped soundhole, chrome tuners, LR Bass Miratone preamp preamp/EQ system, with treble, bass and notch EQ with a overall volume control as well, although these knobs are quite small.
Sound

So far I've only played this guitar through my studio monitors and some pedal effects. The sound is very clean, which I love, but also midrangy compared to bigger bodied acoustics. I have always prefered more midrange dominant sounds because they cut through the mix like a hot knife through butter. However, I don't want to give the impression that this guitar sounds "quacky" or anything like that. The sound is balanced, but doesn't have that boominess that can interfere with other bass instruments.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Awesome. But obviously this category is still pretty subjective like the sound. The action was setup just right for my tastes, even though I bought it slightly used. There's no string buzzing, the intonation is good and I don't feel like it's hard to press down on the fingerboard. The neck is slender, which makes the playing experience almost effortless for me.
Reliability/Durability

As durable as any acoustic. If you smash it against a wall, it will undergo damage obviously. But little knicks won't affect the sound. Although I must concede that I haven't had it long enough to really endure any kind of durability test.

An excellent acoustic. It looks sexy and plays effortlessly. I've never owned a really high-end acoustic, but I've played nice Martin's and Taylor's and this definately competes. Although, the sound is certainly different, the better or worse criteria is too subjective to be applied. The fact of the matter is that I can get great sounds out of this guitar that are clean and certainly recordable on a professionally produced cd. To me, if the guitar satisfies functional requirements and plays and feels good, then how that be wrong.
