Features : 9
This guitar has been finished in High gloss, very well done.
It is a classical guitar that resembles the Kohno, Sakurai and Tama
classical guitar of the seventies which were ment to be for the world market. Check out the tuners (with roses engraved) on the allready mentioned brands. My instrument has been manufactured in 1978 and has the same head and double ebony re??nforcement in the neck
as the Kohno, Sakurai and Tama guitars.
Solid spruce top, solid indian rosewood sides and back. The no. 15
model of this builder has brasilian rosewood sides and back.
Ebony fingerboard as is the bridge.

It is a misunderstanding that these guitars are quite heavy built as
could have been concluded from the thickening around the soundhole.
The strutting is very lightly and is the same as in the Kohno guitars
that have the Fleta Head!

Sound : 10
Of course this is a classical guitar and it should be judged that way.
Alongside my Ramirez clase 1a guitar from 1974 this one has a superior sound to me. Lots of volume, beautiful balance and a dark
voice with enough trebles and clarity.

By picking at different places the sound really reacts great!
This is absolutely a top instrument. I've tried the no. 15 and the
no. 8. But no matter the number of model this one is absolutely the best.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
The action was as it should be. No rattles but not too high either.
The flaws could have been the bracing that had to be reglued!
Fretwork, bridgesaddle and nut were really prperly made.

Reliability/Durability : 8
With enough care this guitar should last a lifetime.
Finish is good and it looks like a real dependable instrument to me.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Mister Juan Orozco went out of business. I had E-mail contact with him and he was really surprised and glad that I admired his work!
He stated that all brands I allready mentioned have been built in the same factory. It was a collaboration between Kohno, Sakurai and
Orozco. So this one is built in the Tama factory where the early Ibanez Artwoods e.g. also have been built.

Overall Rating : 10
I did different recording sessions for singers here in Holland.
I'm playing now for about 40 years. After having collected electric
guitars I'm more into acoustics now. I have all brands that are known
to most of you: Fenders, Gibsons, Martins, Guild, Tokai, Danelectro,
Levin, Ramirez, you name it...
When I play electric I'm using a Digitech 19 inch unit in combination
with a Mesa Boogie Mark II that works well for me.
At home I like to play over an old Vox AC 30 that still sounds wonderful to me.

I would and really will seek for these guitars. They are mostly of good quality and sometimes exceptional as is mine!
