Glen Campbell twelve string made in 1978. US made, solid top, slotted headstock. This guitar just sings! Twelfth fret joinder. I've had it about 15 years and still marvel at the sound that comes out. Gold and pearloid. Just lacks abalone from being ornate. Clean without being mundane. Wasn't wired. Almost didn't need it, but had it done at the factory when I had the top refinished due to a finish crack that developed after a tiff with the bass. Brown bowl, semi-deep. Wonderful instrument.

Sound is way out front. Not boggy, but bright, typical ovation and twice as much because it's a twelve string. I personally love the sound

This is a very well made instrument. 5-piece neck is a lot prettier than they make them now. The mahagony is dark and shiney. The finish on the top is clear and bright. No flaws, except for the one I put on the top.

Played it every week for years. Everything solid. Even keeps in tune for weeks, which is a Godsend with a 12-string. Very durable. The finish is hard. There's a reason they don't use pickguards on these pieces. Bowl is tough!

I sent it in for refinishing of the top a few years back. Had it wired at the time. I couldn't believe how cheap it was. Very efficient. and responsive. Also, you can call their service department and talk to a real person and it's usually someone who knows the merchandise and can tell you what you need to know.

I'm not even a good player but I've been playing 20 years and I can tell you that for the average person, the better the instrument, the easier it is to play.
