Big sound for a small body. Good tight bass and ringing trebles, but the midrange is a little weak, but most Ovations sound that way.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Never sent off for repairs in 26 years. As always, the best acoustic action around. The top has a beautiful tight grain with silking. Has turned a golden color. Came from the factory set up just the way it is today, this guitar is rock solid, no cracks, dents whatever. Excellent finish with no defects.
Reliability/Durability

I have played this guitar live for about 7 years, and I play it now frequently at jams and at church. The face has hardly any pick damage.
I can most definitely depend on this guitar, it has been my musical "buddy" for 26 years.
Customer Support

Have never had to use Ovation's customer support and probably never will.

I have been playing guitar for 37 years. I have a Taylor 510, 1965 Gretsch Double Anniversary, 1991 Les Paul Studio, Ovation 12 string Custom Legend A/E, and an Ibanez SG400 bass. I probably would,t buy another Custom Legend because they are all A/E and shallow bowl now.I love the action, sound, all the abalone. I don't hate anything about it. I have a Taylor 510 that I like the sound of, but the Ovation still has better playability.
