Its a laminated top. It has a pickup system that I dont know anything about. It has no built in preamp or indication of what type of pickup it is. The tuners are the best I have ever seen in my entire life. I can go about a month without tuning it, and i play almost every day

I love it. It is very loud when played acoustic. The pickup system sounds kinda like a tin can droping. It has a rich tone while having that stealy type sound of a martin.

The frets become worn down eventually. It has started to happen to me. It has a metal fret board, making it hard to bend strings. Other than that it is amazing.

I found this guitar in my garage, and it had been sitting there for 20+ years. It still has an amazing tone. The frets become worn down as i said before though.

I love this guitar. I wish it had a better pickup system and better frets that would not wear down. The sound is amazing. It is loud rich and great for most styles of music.

Made: 1967 (Nov)-1968 (July)
Type: Elite/Matrix electric deep bowl
Deluxe Baladeer with natural finish
All i have to say is wow! This guitar was purchased a number of years ago for my sister to take up leasons. Needless to say she gave up on it and thats where i come in. I picked this damn good guitar when I was thirteen in 1998. I wish i would have took better care of it but it still held out those years of falling and tipping over onto the floor. If i would have known how great a guitar it is at that time i would have definately not been so stupid to lay it around anywhere and everwhere. I play a lot of Acoustic and prefer this acoustic over an electric on any rainy day.

The action on this guitar is amazing. This acoustic plays better than a lot of electrics on the market today.

I've been playing for 6 yrs and own a Traynor Custom valve 40, and a Standard Epiphone- cherryburst. If i ever buy another acoustic guitar it will be an Ovation.

Made in 1978 in USA,(serial # 144154)I picked it up in Belfast around 1995 so it's been about. It has 20 frets, laminated top, no control, know nothing about the electronics/pick-ups but all are origional i assume, it's a deep back and the only damage is picks and fingernails slowly making their way through an inch square section on the top from many years being put to good use. I had the case but never used it so it got binned. Shame, it was in perfect condition too but let's be honest.... It was a big, ugly, slippy hunk of moulded plastic!
Great guitar though.

I just use it as an accoustic around the house but it booms.
Beautiful deep and full sound. If guitars have arguements when we're not around, this guy would win. (in a respectful but firm and commanding tone)
Nothing to dislike about this. Im surprised i've never even given it a name.

Who knows how it was set up?
I was Two when it was made but nearly thirty years on, its still solid as a rock. It has a slight curvature on the neck at fret # 16 but it doesn't affect it at all.
