A friend bought it for 20 bucks used so we're not sure of a lot of info.It was crafted in Indonesia. They did a great job. It's got 20 frets. Not sure of the top...probably laminated though as it is a low end guitar. No electronics. Don't know the neck wood. I love the flat finish and the dreadnought shape tops off this low end beauty.

Sound : 7
The tone of this little gem is complementary to the contemporary "open" style of voicings common to modern christian worship. Easily muted and a pleasure to walk up and down the whole neck. I love the feel of the satin finish under your arm.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
The guitar in it's original condition needed adjustment. As I said, I got it used so it not a fair assesment to say it was a factory fault although I doubt the previous owner altered it at all. Since it is a bolt on neck (not just for Taylors anymore!!!) I was able to shim the neck to lower the action. Try that on a Martin!! It now plays easily and buzz free. No truss rod adjuustment needed.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Low end guitars are exactly that. Finding one that sounds great is a blessing and this one sounds great.

I don't know it's original purchase price but I think the $150 range would be a fair price.

This Clarksdale was made in the Phillipines, which is not a suprise. The dull natural finish looks cheap. I found a few "mistakes" in it, too. The no name tuners hold their tune, though. No accessories were included.

Sound : 5
This guitar sounds okay if you are playing on the higher strings, but on the lower end, it buzzes like a nest of bees. Yeah, you can make a variety of "sounds" with it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
This guitar was made right, but I am put out by the cheap hardware. I even found some parts that were rusty.

Reliability/Durability : 2
The finish is very thin and I would never consider playing it in any gig.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I've never had to deal with them.

Overall Rating : 3
If I could do it again, I would probably save my money and buy a better guitar. The only thing I like about it is how I can pick really hard and goof around with it without worrying about breaking my expensive, precious guitar. But, it does hold up to a lot of abuse.
