This guitar is very unique. I could not pass it up. Originally designed by Landola of Finland. High quality sound with many characteristics available through equalizer. It is a thin body but sounds as full as my Guild D 40. It can sound as spanish as my Alhambra flamenco, too. The pickup is a Fishman Matrix and there is no noise of feedback even right in front of the amp. Guitar sounds awesome through acoustic Tech 21 Bronzewood 60 amp, as well as Mesa Boogie. Sound is rich, and robust. Equalizer must be considered for the right tone, which can be had easily. I love the sounds of this guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : No Opinion
I purchased the guitar used from original owner. It was not played much and had no wear. The setup was suffering. I setup the guitar myseld after figuring out how easily it could be done. The truss rod uses a five-side nut like Gibson, and the neck, which is a finest fit bolt on is very adjustable via tilt adjustment. The setup after some work is as fast as my Strat. Frets are high quality nickle, finished very fine. Intonation is perfect. I have it set up with Black Diamond Acoustic/Electric 11 strings, but may go to 10's. The saddle and nut are Graphtech. For a ten year old guitar which spent most of its life in the case, the guitar is very alive with a fine setup. The finish on the top is beautiful. It is a fine nitroc finsish with a thin but very high gloss. The finsh on the sides and back is satin, and could have been better. The neck is a birdseye maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. Both are decent quality. The headstock is finished with a great rosewood veneer with Schaller gold tuners which still have all the gold finish intact.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
This is a fine quality instrument which sold for $1000 when new. It is built to last with proper care. Everything was carefully handcrafted to last. I would use it without a backup, but that isn't the best practice ever, is it?

Customer Support : No Opinion
Peavey has is always amont the best customer backup of any american manufacturer. A fine company with legitimate fine products. They care. At least anyone I have spoken to, particularly Steve in customer service. Southern Gentleman.

I think I have twelve guitars. All high-quality. I consider this guitar unique and special. I will not be parting with it soon because it is special. I was looking for a thin-body guitar and had looked at the Gibson Chet Atkins for over a grand new, would love a Guild Peregrine, but they too are very dearly priced but will still look, and then there is the e-coustic. I thought the e-coustic sounded and played as well as the other two, but the Guild was awesome. If you are seeking a thin-body, reasonably priced acoustic/electric, USA made, and if you can find a well taken care of e-coustic guitar, buy it.
