Peerless PGC-65

This guitar is simply beautiful to look at, finished in a highly polished antic polished tobacco sunburst.
Manufactured throughout in solid spruce (top) and mahogany (back and sides) with a rosewood fingerboard.
The build quality is of the highest order and comparable to guitars costing 4 times as much that I considered before purchasing it. A feature I really like is the diamond protruding the neck on the headstock, brilliant, great touch or class.
Peerless tuners are finished in chrome, look great and hold their tune 100%.

The Peerless PGC-65 rings and sings as well as other renowned high end brands costing three to four times as much.
This guitar says 'come and play me', 'listen to me' no serious guitar player would be disappointed.
Comes with a lifetime warranty, what more could one want?
However good the sound of this guitar is today tomorrow it will sound better as the solid woods age.

The guitar played perfectly as set up by the factory, no sharp edges, excellent action and a finish to die for.
A small guitar, I think the best shape which will stand out in any crowd.

All solid wood expertly put together this guitar will only get better with age.

This guitar (my second Peerless) is currently one of the best kept secrets, the quality of build together with a quality of sound per Pound makes a complete mockery of current high end brand pricing.
I would bet it would be impossible not to mistake the Peerless PGC-65 for a far more expensive brand if a blind test were carried out.
Treat yourself whilst at the same time saving a lot of money and go and try one of the for yourself.
The only thing this guitar lacks is a high end brand label, nothing else so if you're a label person go and buy one if not you will not go wrong with this guitar.

This guitar is a deceptively small OO size with a tobacco sunburst high gloss finish.It is fitted with Peerless tuners which resemble the small grovers and seem to work pretty good.
It has 19 frets on a nice dark rosewood fretboard.
The top of the guitar is solid spruce and the body and neck are mahogany.It has a neck volute ( extra diamond shaped piece at the back of the top of the neck ) which personally I really like and I think this adds to the dynamics of the guitar.The nut on this guitar is a bone one which saved me the bother of changing it ......fantastic !

I have just started using this guitar for live work and so far I am very pleased with the sound and playability of it. It has a rich sonorous tone and for a small bodied guitar is loud !
This guitar is equally suited for strumming and picking and you just need to dig in a bit harder with pick or fingers and it will reward you with some lovely harmonics.It is one of those guitars that you know is just going to sound better and better as the years go by and already is starting to feel like an old friend.

The guitar played great straight out of the box.The intonation was spot on and the frets were nicely polished and rounded.
To suit my personal taste,I took the bridge down by about 1mm and fitted some lighter strings..( came with 12's and I use 11's ) I also did my usual rub the gloss off the back of the neck with '0000' steel wool and then the guitar was unputdownable !
There was no loss of tone after putting the lighter strings on, in fact it added a little top end sparkle.

Can't really comment on this as I have only had this guitar for a short time, but I have great expectations for it as it looks really well made with a good finish and the attention to detail is superb.I will only rate this at 8 but time I'm sure will tell favourably on this one.

I have been playing guitar for 35 years and I am about to tour over the next couple of months and the Peerless will be used for most of the acoustic work.
If this guitar were stolen or lost, I would definitely buy another.The thing that I like most about this guitar is the size and tone ....it's perfect for what I want.

I play fingerstyles and it fits very well. The sound is bright and surprisingly lound even though the body is very small. the bottom is solid and clear, high is very crisp. Great sound overall.

No falws whatsoever. the setup was good. There was a slight bump (maybe glue) on fingerborad but it went away after 20-seconds sanding. Everything else was perfect.

This is a very solid guitar. I brought it to many gigs and no problem at all. Finish is great, hardware seems OK so far. I never needed back up.

I didn't need to get support. So I give it 9. But I've heard the company is very responsive even though its in south korea.

I have been playing for 20 years. I have 20+ guitars but mainly electric. This is my best acoustic guitar so far. Very, very pretty and incredibly solid, so easy to handle. I will buy another one immediatley if it was stolen.

Electronics would have been good but could affect the purtiy of this guitar. Weired, but this guitar reminds me my youngest daughter.
