The PF-2 is an all solid flamenco guitar out of the professional series of Guitarras Quiles in Valencia (Spain).
The guitar came in a nice case.
The guitar is 100% handcrafted by Vicente Quiles.
The top is made of AAA grade solid spruce, back and sides are made of AAA grade solid cypress.
Neck reinforced by ebony. Two golpeadores.
Fingerboard is made of ebony and neck is made of Spanish cedar.
Vicente Quiles really did a wonderful job building this PF-2, it even has a doming top and back, which contibutes a lot to the sound.
Sound

The PF-2 does have the authentic flamenco tone: great throaty rasp, full basses,solid and crispy; trebles have great clarity and do sound full (nice decay).
Also in the upper registers this guitar sings.
Great projection, very percussive,very responsive and a high standard of playability.
Action, Fit, & Finish

To me the action done by Vicente Quiles is very well, so I will not change it.
This guitar has not not only a beautiful tone, but also is nice decorated.
Even the way the strings are attached to the bridge is exceptional.
As far as I can judge the finish is very good, excellent hardware and the fretwire is filed very well.
The only thing I did change were the strings; I always play on Luthier strings (popular supreme set 20)

I do own this guitar 3 weeks, but in my opinion the PF-2 is very well built so it will withstand live playing

I did order the PF-2 directly by Vicente Quiles and I must admit it is a very solid and reliable company to deal with.
We had a lot of contact by e mail (English language)and I must say Vicente is very friendly and helpful and above all he keeps his word, which is very important when doing business abroad.

I do play 36 years and I also do own Martin OOO-28EC, Takamine ec132sc, Quiles C-2 and from now on I also posses a Quiles PF-2.
As I do play many styles of music the PF-2 allows me to play flamenco in the real Spanish flamenco tone.
I did compare the guitar to Esteve, Alhambra, Pedro Maldonada and Sanchis.
Every guitar builder has it's own sound: I do prefer the sound of Guitarras Quiles.
