Large 1940's replica jazz acoustic guitar, solid spruce top, laminated maple back and sides. Good jumbo frets, should last some time.

Sound : 10
I own the Saga Gitane D500 and DG255, its better sounding than these two guitars, louder and brighter with a great cigar cutting sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Nice low action, beautiful flawless finish. The moustache was not attached but the guy i bought this guitar from is a professional luthier so no problems here.

Reliability/Durability : 7
As with all wood guitars some care is required, laminate woods tend to add some strength to guitars and whilst solid woods are preferred in most style guitars its not such a big issue with gypsy style guitars, as mentioned the top is solid.

Customer Support : 1
Originally purchased from Ivor Mairants, their after sales service totally sucks big time. I'll never purchase another guitar from these guys. I did have some repair/replacement issues which they did not resolve and so i had to go somewhere else to get my guitar issues resolved/replaced.

Overall Rating : 10
A great guitar, for traditional 1930's style jazz and with plenty of contemporary options for those who want to play in the guitars idiom.
