Features : 10
Satin nitrocellulose lacquer, cutaway dreadnought body, Godin tuners, solid Cedar top, rosewood laminate sides.

Sound : 10
Nice even sound. When friends play this guitar, they rave about how barre chords ring like open chords--no drop off as you move up the neck. The rich cedar gets some punch from the rosewood.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Perfect fit and finish.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is rock solid. No issues, nothing frail about it.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Not had to deal with them.

Overall Rating : 10
If this guitar was stolen, I would definitely replace it. The Artist series can compete with Taylor and Martin, for a fraction of the cost.

Dreadnought cutaway, no electronics.Made in 2002

Sound : 6
Fairly good bass quality, poor treble sound, reasonable volume.Fine for strumming but poor balance for anything more intricate.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
Factory set up terrible !! atrocious action, loose tuning pegs, broken saddle.Even after a profesional set up and a change of saddles for bone saddles very high tension on strings make it a hard guitar to play with 11-52 gauge strings which are fairly light.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Solid enough guitar that will withstand being played live.Poor quality tuning pegs which don't hold the strings well.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Don't live in Canada or USA so never had the opportunity to deal with a serious Seagull retailer.

Overall Rating : 5
I've been playing 20 years or more and will sell this guitar and never buy another one.I bought it because I thought the rosewood/cedar combination would give me the sound I was looking for and I'd tried a Seagull S6 which sounded good, better than this one actually.I like the appearance of the guitar in it's simple sobre look. The neck is difficult to get used to especially if you have small hands.I also own a Fender telecaster, a classical gutiar and a Yamaha folk guitar

Not sure what year it is. Purchased used from a local guitar shop. 22 Fret Dreadnaught cutaway, Rosewood sides and cedar top, Gold hardware and pearline buttons, Seagull head inlay and on 12th fret.

Sound : 10
Incredible playing guitar. Compared to my Tacoma PM20, this guitar is much richer in all registers. Very full sound. It rings forever. Recently played a few James Goodall guitars (~$4400) and this guitar is comparable in its tonal quality. Just amazing bang for the buck.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Fretwork is great, neck is straight and action is impeccable. All woodwork is of very high quality.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar would sound great with just a microphone although it could probably benefit from a pickup. Hardware is solid.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't had to use yet

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for nearly 30 years now and this guitar is one of the best finds I've come across. Very impressive. In terms of its sound its a lot like a Lakewood or Santa Cruz. Fat and tingly!
