Full booming sound. It's a dreadnought. Good all purpose guitar. Trying to figure out which strings are best. Using light guage right now.

Setup was fine (for me). Nut fell off. I just glued it back on, no biggie. In daylight, I noticed a near neck the top (near Soundhole) was disfigured due to some binding or production issue. You could not notice it looking at the guitar but one day I was walking by and noticed it. This was disappointing.
Action is quite nice, slides are smooth, barring is comfortable.

Finish is starting to wear a bit. Is it a solid guitar ? Only time will tell.

Good value for the money overall. Don't expect much and you will be delighted. The sound is very decent, build quality is questionable. Anyone from Seagull reading this can email if they have any issues with my comments on the build quality.
I would check out a Yamaha next time. Not sure they would have the same build issues.

Coastline S6 Slim CW Spruce QI. Good mix of non mainstream woods(other than the spruce top). Spruce top, Wild cherry back and sides makes this a very cool looking guitar. Neck is Silver Leaf Maple, feels like Mahogany- very solid.
Quantum I electronics with tuner is a very nice feature
Soft Seagull gig back is a bonus.

I play any acoustic songs. This intermediate guitar has a good blend of sounds depending on how you play it. Sound not too bright, excellent sounding all around guitar. The factory pickup is excellent value for the money. I was pleasantly surprised at the pickup quality.

Solid guitar overall. 2 things that bugged me, but the playability and value of this guitar makes them insignifcant. First the nut fell off when I changed the strings. The store glued it back. Second, it seems the neck protrudes over the soundhole by about 1/8 inch. Doesn't affect the sound but a bit tricky to use my soundhole humidifier properly. Other than that, very well built guitar.

I bought this guitar as my main practice guitar and hammer the crap out of it. Seems to just sound better when I do that. No buzzing.

Been playing about 20 years. Owned many guitars. Acoustics currently owned Martin, Ibanez 1982 build in Japan and a cheap good value Takamine Jasmine for my son. The builtin pickup/tuner look expensive compared to the cheap plastic stuff of made in China guitars. The sound, action and feel are great. Guitar looks clean and sturdy with that signature Seagull headstock. This guitar is better built than the 2007 Takamine EG360SC (Built in China Crap)I owned.
Seagulls are excellent value for the money.

This guitar features a highly polished genuine lacquer, gloss solid Cedar top with Seagull's characteristic wild cherry back and sides with a deep colored semi-gloss finish. It is constructed with Seagull's proprietary compound curve top bracing system. The body sports cream colored binding and a tortoise pickguard. It is a good looking instrument.

It sounds great both acoustically and plugged in. It sound better than my Taylor 314ce. The sound is both bright and loud. I love this guitar.

The silver maple neck is topped by a rosewood fretboard with pearl markers. Action is a comfortable medium low and very playable.(See more above)

It looks like the guitar was very well made and seems rock solid. The finish looks pretty solid. I would use it on a gig without a backup.

I've been playing for over twenty years. I own a Martin SPJC-16RE, Taylor 314CE, and Ovation Celebrity. I've also owned the Gibson Acoustic J-45 Rosewood Modern Classic Rosewood. I like it better than my Ovation and Taylor. I would get this guitar again if it were stolen. I originally bought this guitar as a backup and out of curiosity but now it's kinda my main guitar. It's almost my favorite although I do like my Martin better. The Seagull has a different sound than Martin that's what I like about it. This guitar can definitely hang and beat guitars two to three times its price.
