Seagull Custom Shop, made in 1997, in Quebec Canada. Solid Spruce top, Solid rosewood back, and laminated rosewood sides...the perfect combination!!! comes with LR Baggs Duet II EQ, this system is only out matched my the new LR Baggs I-Beam!!!! Indian Rosewood neck....the whole guitar is designed with Abalone inlay, all around, the most beautiful thing youve ever seen, with Mother of pearl seagull logo on headstock, and Seagull signature in 12th fret...amazingly beautiful...I cant look at the guitar when playing, b/c its beauty is very distracting....IT RULES!!!

INCREDIBLE!! I just have a crappy old electric guitar amp, but it doesnt seem to matter, the sound is Rich, full, and bright, and beautiful...the LR baggs Duet II is unmatched...even without being plugged in, the sound is so smooth, rich, and full, the guitar is so easy to play...I use extra light strings, and a low action, and the sound just glows...my favorite picks are Jim Dunlop Nylons 60mm...I hear different sounds from different picks, and I find these sound best...the sound is as beautiful as the guitar!!!

there was, and still is nothing wrong with my guitar, it was perfect when I got it, and still is perfect...I saw pictures before I bought it, but when I saw it in person, I was amazed...

extremly dependable, with the spruce and rosewood, this guitar will only sound better the more you play it...everything seems to be where it should, and built solid from the inside out...there is no pick guard, but who wants an ugly pick guard?? so there will over time be some scratches from your pick, but this will happen on any guitar...
I would definitly use this on a gig without a backup, I use my backups for alternate tunings...this is my first choice guitar..

I have dealt with Seagull direclty through emails...to ask questions about this guitar before buying it, and they replyed reasonibly quick, and provided helpful information...

I have played many acoustic guitars, this is my all time favorite, Canada seems to make some good guitars, my other favorite is Larrivee from Vancouver, very sweet guitars, Ive played a few Martins, but wasnt too impressed...I will keep an open mind though...this guitar always draws a crowd, people have never seen one before, I love everything about it, from its inner beauty, to its outer beauty, this guitar, compared to any other guitar in its price range, blows away the compitition, Id say it compares with guitars twice the price of this one...over all, for the price, you wont find a better guitar
