Excellent guitar at this low price, own several acoustic guitars, this by far has the best playability and a good balance of clear highs, midrange and mild lows. I would even dare say it's the best choice so far i made in buying guitars.
You don't have to struggle to play this guitar,it's almost like the guitar itself is always begging to be played. If you're looking to buy this model you won't be disappointed!

OMG! Right out of the box, this guitar sounds like an orchestra!

Sparking highs, good mids, nice bass (but not overwhelming).

I have tried several models including the Breedloves, Seagull S6, Seagull S6 Slim, Seagull 25th Anniv. Maple, Martin X series, Gibsons, Taylors, Ovations, etc. I did my homework before buying this guitar - with no pressure or emotion.

The perfectly book-matched Cedar top with the Mahogany sides and back are a perfect recipe for an astonishing sound.

You can tell right out of the box that this guitar was made with human hands on this continent. No overseas stuff here.

The scent of Seagull's laquer is awesome.

I love the 1.8" nut width because I do a lot of finger-picking. Seagull makes a few models with the standard 1.72" if thats what you prefer.

The only things that would make this guitar better for me is an on-board tuner and a Cut-Away but this model is not available with either.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Everything about this guitar shows quality. I have not gigged with it but i'm sure its as reliable as you would expect from a high-end instrument. However, this model does not come wth a case or bag so I won't take it out of my house until I buy one.

By the way, Seagull makes a very nice gig bag with better fit and protection than Breedlove's. Buy it for $49.95. It's a great deal.

After trying the Seagull 25th Anniv. Maple (which was WAY too bright, I went to Seagull's customer service for advice. They recommended this guitar and they were right on. Way to go, Michel!

I have been playing for several years. I own a whole list of guitars and various equipment. I demand QUALITY at an affordable price. There is no need to spend thousands to get an unbelievable tone, playability, etc. Those are for the rich kids (who, by the way, know nothing about quality and tone anyway).

I have to play this guitar daily. In fact, playing guitar is the perfect way to start my day.
