no idea about the year, anybody?
twenty one frets
looks like a plywood top
no controls, it's acoustic, silly.
looks like a solid, non adjustable neck made of maple. the body's plywood, I'd swear.
it's spraypainted black, from the factory
it's a huge archtop.
it's got a floating woodbridge, of course you can't adjust it.
factory tuners, crooked metal cheap nasty awful things.
it's a thin neck, looks kind of "jazzy"
are you kidding?

it's PERFECT. a name can't be given to my style.
I use it with microphones in bars when I can. if not, i don't use anything with this guitar.
it's got this great, mellow, percussive tone. i never change trhe strings. it's too risky.
it's a round sound for the lower notes, but that plywood really makes those high notes echo in the body, it's a spooky sound I've never been able to get from another guitar.
there's a few sounds it can do. for rhythm, it's warm and vintgae-y, but for leads, you go into that spooky sort of sound, it too unique to describe in words.
I have no qualms about this guitar, except the tuners, which I may replace.

I don't think "set up" really was something they were thinking in regards to this guitar. it looks like a beginner's model sears guitar, but, mama, I'm sold!
there are numerous flaws in the original manufacture, plus certain things that must have happened over time. c'est la vie. aren't we all like that? i love this guitar!
but the tuners were a bad idea.

this guitar cannot be killed with conventional weapons. even the greyhound can't kill it.
I'll die before it does, all hail the fifties.
the strap buttons are excellent. the guitar is very light, anyway.
I live off this guitar. I eat because of this guitar.
it's the only one I ever take out with me.

I've been playing about five years. I've owned and continue to own a wide range of strange and unique guitars and amps. I almost never buy anything new. what's the point? everything that's anygood has been built already! if it's unique, I want it.
if it wer stolen or lost, because NOTHING could destroy this guitar, I'd just die.
It reminds me of every girlfriend I ever had, but it doesn't want me to commit anything other than the ROCK, you know? those tuners gotta got, though. sorry.
I chose this guitar becuase it was the only interesting thing they'd give me for my SG, which had definitely seen some better days. don't remove stickers with anything other than WATER, guys. it's a lot like a harmony. but I don't hate it like I hate harmonys.
I wish it had a lot of money.
you'll probably never find one like it, so buy my records to hear what it sounds like.
