VERYYYYYYYYYYYYy High Action especialy at NUT.But you can modify bridge to lower height.
I found two failure from this guitar,The first is at joint neck,It's not straight.and the other one at tunning machine is incredibly suck assemble.
The main reason that I get rid of this gear cause Its action and its neck so FATTTT

Tacoma's take on a chief-shaped classical acoustic/electric. Cedar top, rosewood back and sides. All solid, except I think the sides are laminated - not sure. Fishman's prefix plus (not the blend) accompanied this guitar. The soundhole is in the traditional center with a nice cutaway for extended play. I was struck by the sheer beauty and seduction of this guitar - especially compared to the other classicals in the store. Tacoma's CC10 has to be one of the best looking classical guitars around - period.

Unfortunately, features alone can't sell this guitar - it all comes down to the sound. And I think that this was Tacoma's guinea pig for a classical guitar. I think they basically tried to put nylon strings onto a chief guitar vs. starting with a classical guitar and adding the Tacoma style later. The result is that a Takamine or even a Yamaha classical with the same woods will (and does) outshine this Tacoma.
I think another problem came with me - I don't blame the company for this, but I was sort of "dating" a classical because it sounded romantic to play around with one when in reality I'm basically a steel string, folk and rock oriented player. I was never classically trained and didn't approach the guitar this way. I suspect, however, that if a classically oriented player did play this Tacoma, that he or she would have come to a similar conclusion as myself - this is a steel string masquerading as a classical.

I didn't want to fool around with the action - but the strings were set pretty high. Unfortunately, my aggressive strumming style made the strings buzz even with the high action. I definitely didn't play this guitar like a classical - and for that, I was to blame.
I also noticed that the curves around the lower bout of the guitar were not smooth. The outer circumference of the guitar didn't feel perfectly round - but instead felt wavy in one area - I thought this was a manufacturing error.

I think a classically trained guitarist would have treated this guitar better. I was the fool to think it could play like a steel string.
Regardless, Tacoma still makes a good product and the overall reliability of this guitar was sound.

Overall, the sound didn't do it for me. I was lovestruck at the beginning by the sheer beauty of this guitar, but, like a good date gone sour, I realized "the morning after" that underneath the beauty was an awkward instrument unsure of itself. Tacoma will need to go a couple of more rounds until they can get the classical electric guitar right. In the meantime, stick with a traditional classical like a Ramirez.

i am a student going aftermy music degree. so, i play it all from bach to zz top.i play this either straight through p.a. or a swr california blonde.best sound is actually in a room with hardwood floors or intimate coffee house setting(small room) it has a tone that is always sweet but easily angered.extremily versitile for any situation .

compared with many other guitars of this type(godin, gibson chet atkinsetc.)this is easily the most comfortable.many traditiional clasicals don't realy allow for soloing in the upper frets and often sound too stuffy and are 1 trick ponies. this guitar has a bolt -on neck that allows easy access to creative playing. something your not gonna find on a ramirez or herman hauser - but this guitar is not attempting to be in that kind of company . this guitar is for playing .craftsmanship really shows through from neck to bracing.nice even satin finish allows guitar to sing.nothing was loose or rattled . i was at the store just as ups showed up and was fearful of any mis handling. the employee checked in the order and allowed me to inspect the carton bfore i opened the case .no problems here

i've been playing seriousley for about 12 yrs.(20 total) i did the rock thing and the band thing and the solo bit. i have owned many nylon's and always worry about roadworthiness and the "what if it gets stolen or destroyed factor"i have many guitars that i never wnat to leave the house and some that are very unreplaceable due to collectability and/or sentimental value.i did my homework and gave alot of thought into what i wanted. i wanted a guitar that would allow me to adapt to all kinds of playing . it has to be comfortable and the last thing for you to worry about shouldn't have to be it's construction. i wanted a guitar that i could practice Tarrega on and also jam on dave matthews band stuff with. i was excited when i saw this same guitar hangin on the wall(without fishman)at my local store and played it to death . i worried that the fishman might destroy some of the tone i heard on the one at the store so i ordered my guitar on the condition i could play it before i bought it -(i would get store credit if it was a lemon) i was not disappointed. if you ahve guitars of value and don't want to tour with them anymore get one of these. if it gets destroyed -yes' it can be replaced-if it gets stolen - you can replace it- it won't drown out a singer in recital and will be heard in a class of twenty others.many pureists i know have fallen in love with her and are Very surprised to hear a good tone from something that didn't cost a small fortune
