This guitar has a very balanced tone. Bright but too bright. Similar to a Talyor but not as bright. The bass is strong but not too boomy. Tacoma's balanced tone is said to come from the bridge design. Which is high and narrow on the bass side and wide and flat on the treble side. Very sweet sound. Best sounding guitar I ever heard.

The action was low the way I liked it. Easy to barre chords. No flaws with the finish. Great overall construction.

I'm a hobbist. Never gigged, but if I did I believe that this guitar could handle the workload. This is a goto guiar. Reliabilible so far. Should last for many years to come.

I only been playing for about a year. I started it out on a cheap ebay guitar and I also had a bridgecraft strat copy. I couple of months ago I was the guitar shop playing different guitars and came across the Tacoma. Played it and the rest is history! Fell in love. Sounds great and I love the look of the koa on the back and sides. I have played Taylors, Martins, and Gibsons and this one beats them all at half the price. If this one was stolen I'll search the mountain highs and the valley lows to get another one!! This one is a keeper.
