Tacoma DM1812

This guitar is awesome! As far as features go mine's pretty plain. Nice abalone inlay, beautiful gloss finish. Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides, rosewood neck and bridge. I didn't want a guitar with overdone inlays and features, so this is right for me. I also like the clear pick guard-makes it stand out from other guitars. They do come with built in pickups, but I couldn't wait the 8 weeks for one at the factory.

I play everything from modern rock to folk to bluegrass, and this guitar does it all. From playing softly while palm muting to all out ripping on the strings, this guitar gives a very clear sound with excellent definition, much better than the Martin and Taylor 12 strings I played at the store. I ordered this online without having played it or seen it, and I have not been disappointed. Quite the opposite, my friends and I agree it's one of the best sounding guitars out there.

I've had it for 3 weeks. I keep it tuned in D and use a capo when I need to. No problems at all. It stays in tune very well, too.

I imagine this guitar will hold up live. I play it at least 4 hrs per day, and it holds up fine. I've also taken it in the studio, and anywhere else I've felt like bringing it. I think it's solid as a rock.

I have been playing for 10 years and this is the first 12 string I've owned. I also have a Les Paul and a Takamine acoustic. This is by far my favorite, not just because it's new. THE SOUND IS AMAZING!!
I played several 12 strings, by Martin, Taylor, and Takamine, all in the $800 - 1600 range, and this guitar not only sounds better but is easier to play than many as well. If it was stolen I'd buy another and murder the thief, his family, and possibly his neighbors. Well, maybe not, but I do love this guitar.

The things great! The action seems just slightly high on mine, but Ive played a six string all my life so who knows? The finish is nice and glossy.Other writers report great action on theirs, so maybe its just me.Stays in tune well.

Its got a good solid feel to it. I think its gig proof as long as you keep out of reach of children/intoxicated adults.

I have only had the DM 18/12 for about 3 months but I dont suspect I wiil need them unless I drop it off a cliff.

I play mostly with a few friends. I have been playing for 24 years, Im now 40(YIKES) I have a Fender Tele,Martin DM/6string I kinda like the clear pick guard on it, its durable yet invisible The overall sound,and the long rich sustain of chords have me hooked on Tacoma. Its by far the best sounding acoustic Ive ever played. I cant wait to get a 6 string model now!

Flat Pickin' Bluegrass

Very FULL sound, crisp and clean.

They built it right. I look for quality, because I'm used to custom-built guitars. I was surprised at the quality for a factory-made guitar. Flawless.

I've owned it over a year (15 months), only tuned it about 3 times, but play it all the time, like everyday, sometimes as much as 12 hours a day.

Haven't had to use the lifetime warranty yet.

The AWESOME sound quality and it seems to play itself sometimes.
This is my first 12-string, but played lotsa 6-strings.
I have a friend that has one just like mine and we both agreed "It's like it almost plays itself".

TEN YEAR STRUMMEN THE ONLY THING I WISH IT HAD WAS A PICKUP BUT YOU KNOW WHAT,IM NEVER GONNA PLAY ON STAGE ANYWAY SO ITS FINE WITH ME.IF I LOST THIS GUITAR THE ONLY THING THAT WOULD HOLD ME BACK FROM GETTING ANOTHER IS THE PRICE.
