For finger style and flat picking this is a wonderful guitar, very bright with a punchy bass, not a warm sounding guitar, at all, not really suited for rythm work as when you play this guitar, your out front!....lol the electronis are the best i have used, no eq, but you don't need it, very quiet and no feedback. the neck is probubly the fastest neck you will find on an acoustic, very thin and wider than most, alot like an Ibanez elec neck, again just the ticket for fingerstyle and flatpicking, I give it a 9 only because of it's lack of versatility in the rythm department!

One of only 2 guitars in my liftime that i did not have to do any nut filing on, great work Tacoma! did have to do a minor truss rod adjustment, but that is also normal when going for washington to here in the high desert, the fit of this guitar is flawless, very well built!

This guiter should last many lifetimes, as solid as can be for an acoustic guitar!

Overall I give this a 9 again because of it's lack of versatility as a rythem guitar, you can get the DR20 which has that kind of versatility but I already had a Taylor that does that, but as a fingerstyle guitar with the ability to do flatpicking also, in this price range it has no rival!
