This is a great sounding guitar. It is nylon string with a very low action and the nut is 1 7/8 so it feels closer to a regular acoustic than most classical guitars. It is solid wood all the way through--cedar top and rosewood sides and back with a satin finish. It is a small jumbo body style with a cutaway. Mine has an LR Baggs pickup that sounds very clean. I have owned a Gibson Chet classical and this blows it away. It included a wonderful hard case.
Sound

This guitar sounds great. It sounds very smooth and the pickup is very transparent. I use it with a Crate AD125 and a Peavey KB300. It is great on picking songs but doesn't work too well with strumming. The sound is not quite bright enough but it is so smooth--I love it. New strings might help--I still have the original strings on it so I expect this to improve.

I have found no flaws whatsoever. Great job Tacoma! The actions was great. The top is absolutely beatiful--great book match.
Reliability/Durability

The guitar is very solid but I've only had it for a week so I don;t know. I would never gig without a backup anymore--mostly because strings break when you most want them not too!

I've never dealt with them but have heard only good stories from friends.

I play professionally and have for 13 years. I own high end Martins and Gibsons and have owned Taylors. This is my first Tacoma. I love it. I would buy it again if lost or stolen. The $3000 Taylor classical in the store did not sound as good as this Tacoma--and made in the US of A!
