This is a sunburst Takamine D-50 Dragon Series Acoustic Guitar. It is a dreadnought. Non locking tuners, but it stays in tune quite well. Fat neck with medium frets. I was made in China, probably 2006. Solid Spruce Top. No electronoics, although they do make this guitat with electronics. I was more or less looking fot sn inexpensive brasnded guitar to take to beach parties or camping trips. It has served this purpose well. It is not often you find a solid spruce top with s mshshony bsck snf sided with as msple top for the price I paid which was 8,000 Philippoine pesos which is about $200.00. Came with a gig bsg snd strap.

I play blues, country and rock and a little of everything else. This guitar has a perfect balance. Not to much highs, middles or lows and very good sustain. It's quite loud for an acoustic. Very rich and full sound, unlike my Epiphone A-18 which has a very bright sound. I like everything about it.

I don't know how well it was setup at the factory because the place I purchased it from does a setup on the guitar before selling it. The floor model I tested was fine, but mine with the setup was perfect. Everything is perfect about this guitar - beautiful tobacco sunburst.

I don't gig anymore. I would play it at a gig though and mike it through a sound system. The tuners are very stable. Only has a rear strap button, but I don't use a strap with my acoustics. I've had it a year, and it is still as good as when I bought it and I play it everyday.

I'm 55 and been playing guitar as long as I remember and I have way too much gear to list here. I'd get another one if it was stolen because it is my party guitar.
