I've owned this guitar for one-year. This is a six-string electric acoustic guitar with a solid cedar top, ovagol sides and back. It was made in Japan. The neck is rosewood with abalone inlays of a rising Navajo Sun at the 3rd, 5th,7th, 9th and 12th fret. The inlays are desert southwest design and really really compliment the guitars natural finish. It has a parlor style body which is much slimer than a dreadnought, it fits comfortably next to your body and you won't get tired of holding it when going for exteded sessions. It has gold tuners that adjust easily and don't slip. Frets are smooth, require no filing or other adjustment. Its twelve frets to the neck. It has a preamp with three band equalizer that sound great. If I could add anything it would be a tuner, but that's a nice to have as opposed to a requirement. The guitar comes with a really nice hard case.

Sound : 10
For a smaller body guitar it projects a plenty of sound and has nice balance between highs, mid-range and lows. The sustain is fantastic, it will a hold a note for a long-long time. This guitar is best suited for finger-style -- wide spacing on the strings and no pick guard. If you want to strum like Peter Townsend, this in not your guitar. Finger stylist will love the string spacing, sustain, and the ability use altered tunings. My guitar has low action, but does not buzz or hum when I use DADGAD or Gminor tunings. I use exlixr light gage strings and they work just fine. I'd say the sound is balanced, and little bright. When playing Piedmont style blues the bass does not drown out the highs, and the highs don't ring out so much to be annoying. I've been playing finger style Christmas carols (it's the season) and the only way to describe the sound that this guitar makes is heavenly.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
This guitar was manufactured in 1995, my wife bought it as new in 2004???? Evidently it spent plenty of time being exposed to sunlight as the finish on the back of the neck and body has faded. The front is in great shape and the Santa Fe design makes a great look to go with a great sound. Other than the faded finish on the back, the guitar is well put together and I've had no problems with it. The joints are clean, the electronics fit smoothly into the body. There is no excess glue or wood chips, or other flotsam and jetsam to be found. Again it's a parlor or New York style body, so its smaller and fits very comfortably against your body. One of the concerns I had when taking up the guitar was that I have small hands and wouldn't be able to manage the wide spans required for some chords. The d-shaped neck fits comfortably into small hands and I've had no problem making the stretch. I'd give the appearance a 10, but the faded back tends to irritate me. Gotta love the solid cedar top.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I play this guitar daily for an hour or two or three or four everyday... you know how it is, some days it's hard to go to work. It's holding up well. In fact, the sound is getter richer and richer the more I play. I want to die wealthy.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Nice website, I haven't had to talk to them.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for two years, I have a Takamine G-10, Goudin SA-12, and a Baby Taylor If this guitar were stolen, I'd be really really unhappy and probably look for another one. My favorite features are playability and sound. This guitar is hard to put down. The only bummer is the dealer kept the guitar exposed to sunlight and the finish on the back faded. You really don't notice it... unless you own it.
