Very nice sounding guitar. Full, clear, articulate and balanced. Very dreadnaught like, but not overly boomy or bright. IMHO, the GS is Taylor's best sounding guitar by a long shot. No complaints at all.
9 because it's not quite as nice as a Collings or Santa Cruz.

Very nice setup. Taylors play very well out of the box. I'm having it professionally set up with an ivory nut and saddle soon. Very nice fit and finish all around. The case had a scuff inside (where the top meets the body of the case). Probably happened at the store or in shipment. No biggy.

Seems very solid. Hardware is top notch. I wouldn't gig anything without a backup, but I doubt the backup would get much use with this guitar.

N/A. Taylor has a good reputation, though.

I've been playing for 25 years and I also own an Am. Std. Tele. Very happy with this guitar. I'd replace it if lost or stolen.
This guitar replicates the "sound in my head" when I play. Not quite as nice as the smaller boutiques, but very, very good for a mass produced guitar, and I don't worry about treating it like a museum piece -- it's a player for sure.
