K14ce acoustic electric with the Fishman Prefix Stereo pickup system,Koa back and sides with Engleman Spruce top.Absolutely beautiful, the top looks plain from a distance, but up close has a real depth to it like looking into a deep pool,I'm glad I took the advice of many reviewers here and bought it.Now I know what they were talking about.

The Fishman system sounds terrific played alone, I don't know how it will sound in a room full of guitars etc.I've tweaked all the controls and can't get a bad sound unless I run everything all the way up or down just subtle little changes that all sound good, I'm just plugged into tha Berringer ac121 acoustic preamp(I think)(that I heard about here) just acheap little box that works exceptionally well for the $45.I've just ordered a Dtar Equinox EQ,Great sustain and clarity.Makes all my hokey licks sound great.I run the output into a Yamaha 8 channel P.A. head with Elite speakers.
The sustain is unreal, like a grand piano when you hit the bass keys and hold them down.Everything I read about Koa was true, now I will start looking for a K22 Taylor.

I looked hard for a flaw and could'nt find any.Beautiful wood, great setup. It was hard sending some guy on Ebay the money and waiting to see what I'd get, but I'm sure glad I did. I will have this guitar for a long time.

I've been playing on and off for 30 years, my other guitars include a 73 Martin D41(Fishman Matrix),a Taylor XXV GA(K&K western mini I installed),G&L Asat Special (P90's),various tele's etc.If I lost this somehow, I would start the search for another. The carity and sustain are unbelievable on this guitar.Guys that bought a new guitar in town would bring them by to compare to my Martin (they ALL went away disapointed) including a friend who got an acoustic custom built for him for $3500.Now I think there's a new sherrif in town.Mind you the Martin still sounds good.
