Perfectly suited for fingerpicking and strumming. Nice deep midrange, good bass, weak at the high end.

I bought it used and abused on ebay for $850.00. Shipped from Las Vegas where it may have once been frequently used onstage. Definitely used in a smoking environment. Cracked top; someone may have dropped a (heavy) microphone on it. High action and a a bowed neck. I feared the worst, then took it to my ace luthier who spent two months working her over. She plays like a much different guitar now and has become one of my favorites. Wish the highs were better; they are impossible to bring alive regardless of string brands or setup.

Now primarily use it as a backup for my Guild D40 that has better range across the spectrum. I like the Taylor neck better, but the heavier Guild sings much louder...

Playing off and on for about 40 years. Still an amateur; but in love with well-built vintage guitars. I'd consider buying one again if lost/stolen, but might consider Guild F-47ce as an alternative. Favorite feature is the smooth neck; she fretts so easily... I dislike the fact that a prior owner didn't treat her with the respect that a beautiful, well constructed guitar deserves. I have four Martins, six Guilds, two Taylors, a Yamaha and an old Epiphone...all acoustics...
