A dreadnought sized acoustic, with cherry red to dark yellow front.Im unsure about the top but I think its solid spruce.a Rosewood fretboard far nicer than a lot of modern midpriced acoustics Ive seen. The back & sides are cherry coloured 3 ply (damaged back lower corner exposes construction)THE bridge is one of those screw up/down beasts. The neck looks to be Korina or mahogany but the same as a Gibson SG I had in the mid 70s.MOP headstock inlays And pearliod plastic neck markers (a bit cheap looking) Overall a typical 70s Hummingbird copy.

My wife brought this guitar home with her after helping a friend clean out a forgotten shed of junk at her rental property, her friend said Throw it out to the rubbish skip! but she grabbed it for me to torture in my workshop! IT looked like crap after 15 years of storage in a damp shed.I repaired the bridge, fitted new machine heads & strings, nut.then waited acouple days for the neck to tension up to hold tune and WOW Im in love, Ive got a pleasant sounding guitar that strums up a storm and is great for day to day playing in all styles.

Its a bargain guitar with a pleasant sound, easy to play and has a even tone across the neck much better sounding than a lot of mid priced modern guitars Ive played (so many of todays acoustics have that thin airey sound with not much grunt in the bottom end, dare I say like a lot of Martins Ive played)
Ive played git in bands/solo for 40 years, and haunted git shops for longer.Have owned Fenders,Gibsons,Matons,Regal,Ayers,Burns,Ibenez,Teisco.Guyatone, etc
