This is a 6 string acoustic electric model and you wouldn't expect too many features. It has a cutaway, quality tuners, great action, super tone, and the pick-up and electronics EQ, work very well to customize the amplified sound. The inlay work is perfect. I think the wood grain is stunning. I'm not sure what kind of wood it is. I believe this was made in Japan.
Sound

I play folk, country, country rock, and oldies on this. The sound is great. When I first got it, the strings were dead. When I replaced them, I could not believe the ringing tone. A couple of my friends that have more expensive U.S. guitars have commented on the sound and acoustic volume of this one.
Action, Fit, & Finish

I bought it used, but the previous owner said it came this way. The action is low with no buzzing. Either the factory or the original music store did a fine set-up job. It plays well all the way up to the high frets. Honestly, I don't go past the 14th fret much on an acoustic, but the cutaway makes it possible and easy.
Reliability/Durability

It stays in tune very well. The finish is amazing. The wood seems to be high quality and attractively matched. I am careful with my guitars, so I don't know how durable an acoustic can be expected to be. I have not needed to adjust the action or the neck, and it hardly needs to be tuned.
Customer Support

I bought it used, so I don't know about the warranty. The only thing I can imagine giving any concern down the road is the electronics, but they are pretty simple, so this isn't too likely. Tokai is a Japanese company, so I would guess any work would need to be done at a U.S. dealer or any guitar repair shop.

I would buy another Tokai. Their electric guitars are better than most others in any price range. This is the first Tokai acoustic I have owned and I am very impressed. For the money, I don't think you could do any better.
