Suits my style of flamenco and classic music.
For an $80 guitar, the unplugged sound is as loud and full as can be expected from a $500 guitar.
This guitar is a one-trick pony, but what more could anyone expect from an inexpensive classical guitar.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Action is high on the upper registers, but this will be corrected when I file down the saddle.
Fingerboard and frets are excellent. Slight finish flaws in the slotted headstock, tuners are reported cheap and may be replaced if I have tuning problems (which I haven't had yet).

This baby will withstand live playing, the only thing that MAY need to be replaced is the tuners.
She feels solid and there's no doubt in my mind that I'll own this one awhile.

Kurt at Rondo was a pleasure to deal with. No need to be concerned about repairs.

Been playing electric & acoustic for almost 20 years, bass for 10. This is my first nylon string guitar.
I also own a SX SB-301 Lefty also from Rondo. For the money you can not beat Rondo for service and quality. Next up is an amazing PRS "copy" and a Thinline "copy", both retailing for under $300!!!
Agile\Sx\Valencia guitars are amazing value for the money and I'll likely never buy anything over $500 again.

China made, full size classical (39")with cutaway body and active electronics in the form of a piezo pickup in the bridge powered by a 7 band Shadow EQ.
Spruce top, mahogany back and sides with rosewood fingerboard. Gloss finish.
For 109 bucks this really has a lot of features.
Unless the double cardboard box is now considered an accessory, this does not come with anything but the guitar and the strings.

For the price this is a steal. The sound is not amazing, but i have played $300-400 Samicks, Yamahas and a Fender that don't surpass this little guy. What you get is a good solid sound, full but not dramatic. Quite pleasent. I have played a little Sting (well, Dominick Miller i guess) some Clapton and so on. I have to remind myself this is a 100 dollar guitar. If you are in the market for a guitar for around 300-400 bucks, then this should figure into your list of consideration strongly - which is amazing to me that it would.
A swap out to Pro Arete (I have only tried EJ46 hard tension so far) and the sound develops a little more maturity and balance across the board, still, i believe it suits some limited classical work but could handle any rock/pop that you could throw at it. The EQ works well and it sounds excellent through an amp or through the computer.
The highs are a touch sensitive it that makes sense, but, wow, this a 109 dollar guitar for goodness sakes!

The action seemed to work for me, but it is so personal i would hate to say that it is 'right'. The setup was nice but it was the intonation that caught my eye. Almost exact by my cheap little tuners measure (Qwick Tune brand).
Tuners are cheap but functional, the frets are as smooth as most guitars below $500 i have ever played or owned. Everything seemed secure and has yet to display any weakness to me.
One thing that really did get my attention was the stickers. One on the saddle, two on the back of the head and all of them with a glue that requires some care to remove without abusing the nice finish.
A couple of little flaws here and there. The binding around the edge has one fingernail length area that was not straight, the nut was not finished as well i would like. The nut took all of 2 minutes to smooth out.
Overall, if i just think of the number 109, i get all happy!

I would play this live. The tuners have the potential to be a problem, but i have not experienced any such problem. Still, replace them and you have a $160 guitar that can out play a $400 one by most standards.
Gig without a backup? Sure. I fly by the seat of pants on account of the fact i couldn't afford to back up my guitars even if i wanted too. Hardware, especially the sliders on the EQ seems solid enough to give me confidence in this status quo.

Amazing. For the money there is nothing else close that i have come across. I saw one of these on Ebay recently for $229. Go figure. I would replace it, in fact, i might get a second one for my office to pass the long rendering hours.
The only thing i wish it had was a more talented owner ;-)
Sorry for any typos.

I am beginner and this suits me very good.
I practice unplugged and play with it amplified when plugged in my PC.

I've been playing a bit, many years ago, just to revisit my guitar knowledge or lack of it by buying this new guitar.
Recently I went again to guitar shop and picked the $700 guitar which 'looked similar' to my new Valencia, just to see if there are differences..
For my novice perspective, the $700 guitar felt a bit 'softer' but not much. Therefore I guess this is a good deal for beginners and semi-beginners.
