The finish is a Brown, sunburst type finish. It just goes slightly darker brown around the edges. I don't know what type of finish you would call that. It is a Indonesian made Dreadnought style guitar. From what I can tell they are just a Gotoh style tuners. My guessing it is about 10-15 years old. 20 frets. The frets are quite thin and low, from use or not, I don't know. Neck is a made from Mahogany I am guessing and it is just the right fit for myself. A little on the thicker side, but not that much.
If I had to guess what type of wood the body is made of. I would say... Mahogany for back and Spruce or something for the sides and top. I am no expert in naming woods.
Came with a Dean Markley, Pro Mag pickup that my uncle or the previous owner to him installed.

I am sort of new to playing acoustics. I mostly play hard rock and metal on electric. But I wanted another acoustic since I missed the natural beauty/sound of them. This guitar is extremely full sounded. Quite bright also. I don't really know how to describe it being "rich" sounding. It just sounds beautiful and full all around.
This guitar has a pickup across the sound hole. My uncle said that it doesn't sound that great unplugged. I don't know what he finds to be a nice sound. But it sound beautiful plugged and unplugged. I don't really have a set style for playing acoustics. I just like to learn whatever songs I like and I play them. So I guess you could say it is versatile. It is for myself. But everyone has there own feel/sound they like. To he is his own I guess eh?

This thing must have been set up by the factory more than 10-15 years ago so... lol I don't know how it was setup. But! I put a new 17 dollar set of D'Addario's EXP strings on and it needed no setup at all.
The only major problem I had to fix before I strung it up. Was that two of the tuners were loose and I found out that the screw holes were stripped. So I just put some pieces of a tooth pick and some flash glue in the hole. They screwed in fine after that.
Only finish flaws are on the back where it may have rubbed or bumped against an object or a belt buckle or something. Just hairline/surface scratches and a nick here and there.

I don't gig. But I would trust it threw any gig, anytime and anywhere. The only part that I would think that might go, would be the tuners. But that's it. The finish is emaculate for I am guessing at least 15 years old and if I kept it for another 15 or sold it. Depending on the player. I would expect it to be just as good then as it is now.
It only has the one strap button at the back.. and not one near the neck. So Ill either have to install one or use a different type of strap with it.

I have been playing for 3 years this december. I would be upset if it was stolen, cause I know it would be hard to find another like it.
Only thing that I would change about it, would be that it had another strap button.
