Natural finish, sides & back look like maple, top looks to be spruce, probably laminate but it sure doesn't look it. Maple neck with solid tuners that look like gotohs but have Vantage name on them. Built in electronics with 3 band equalizer and endpin jack. Rosewood bridge & fretboard. Double cream bound, fretboard bound too. Label says, "Hand Crafted Guitar" Made in Korea. Early 90's as near I can tell.

This sucker sounds great, it gets more playing time than my Gibson J-100Xtra! Best sounding guitar in it's price range I've ever heard. Sounds great plugged in too.

The fit and finish are very close to perfect, very impressive. It's even neat and well constrocted inside.

Been playing since 1973 have owned tons of great gear. This guitar is THE single best value I've ever got in a guitar. I paid $50.00 Canadian and after couple of hours of elbow grease and setup, I would not have blinked paying $400.00 for this guitar. They're hard to find but I'll buy as many as I can find for 50 bucks.
